Hp HP DeskJet Plus

HP laserjet 4 plus spitting out sligthly bent pgs

Hi we have an HP Laserjet 4 Plus printer thats printing fine, but when the paper comes out the last part of the pages all are slightly bent in 2 places, could it be the rollers?

Does the bent area go across the whole page?

If then:

Just across the bottom, it doesnt seem to be happening as often anymore, but some pages still come out slightly bent.

The other thing you can do is pull gently on the paper as it feeds out of the top of the printer, wait until it's about halfway out before you pull. (you are tryin to assist the rollers, so attempt to maintain the same paper speed)

If it comes out without ripples then order the kit.

Have an HP Laserjet 4 Plus giving a diagonal crease (11:00 to 5:00) on the bottom half of the page.

Tried cleaning the backpanel (?) rollers and it got a little better, actually is intermittent at this point.

Do the back rollers need to be replaced or is this part of the fuser repair?

Cleaning those rollers would have no effect. Creasing is done under pressure. Only thing that is under pressure would be the rubber pressure roller in the fuser assembly. You would have to replace the fuser assy. to fix it. http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/specials/parts/fusers/S101
