Epson Epson Stylus Color 600

Epson power problem

My Epson Stylus Color 600 can't power up, i've check the power outlet and everything seems OK. I suspect the Fuse at printer power supply is broken, but i'm confused with that Fuse Type! in the pcb says T1.25AH 250V, what does it mean? can i change it with F1.5A?
The fuse should be quite easy to check. Put an ohmmeter on it and if you get infinite resistance, the fuse is bad. More likely that your power supply itself has gone on you. I'm dealing with a similar problem on an Epson 880 and am finding that the part costs $40, labor is another $50 so another deskjet goes in the trash. And this one is just over a year old. Epsons seem to be trash. We've had to junk several.
