Hp HP LaserJet 4MV

HP4MV Print Quality

The printer is now printing a couple of vertical light grey bands about 2" and 2.5" wide. Sometimes (when the printer gets hotter)there is an overlapping ghost image at 3.75" inches from the original image.
Your assistance is appreciated
On that printer, vertical is horizontal on letter paper, unless you're printing in landscape mode. It can get confusing because of the way paper feeds. The bands are probably caused by the toner cartridge, the ghost image is usually toner buildup on the fuser assembly. Replace the cartridge first. I don't recommend remanufactured cartridges on that model because of the toner buildup on the fuser issue.
