Hp HP OfficeJet 5610

HP Officejet 5610 cartidge stuck!

This is the first time I'm replacing these cartridges. I bought a 56 and a 58 because that's what they said I ccould use. Come to find out that you can't use them both at the same time. But I tried putting the 56 in the 22 slot. It fit, but then I got an error saying it wasn't the right cartridge. Now I can't get it back out! I can't figure out what it is stuck on. Can anyone help??

Thanks -

You would have to post a picture somewhere online, or email a picture to me, I've got no idea what you are talking about.

Am having the same problem. I get an error saying this cartridge not intended for this printer, and then saying to remove the cart. Problem is, the cartridge is stuck in the printer. Tried the steps at to no avail.

Did you or anyone figure this out?

My cartridge was stuck too. from being in wrong slot. With a knife and a lot of pressure it came out. Now that they are in properly, the carriage won't move. It appears when I look in the paper tray there is a little metal piece blocking it. Hmm, what's next? This metal piece is very strong, I can't move it at all. I hope it's not broken. Maybe it needs a lot of pressure to move it, or it was moved when I got the cartridge out. I'm about to unscrew the back of the printer. I'll probably have to buy a new one anyway. But I'm hoping someone will know what to do. Please help.

When you force a cartridge in a slot it doesn't fit, then it's going to take more force to get it out.
