Hp HP LaserJet IIIP+

I have an HP LaserJet IIIP that will not power up. There is no display from the key pad and there is no warm up or cooling fan operaton. The power On/Off Switch has been checked and is good. I hear a faint hum that appears to come from the Power Input Assembly when the On/Off switch is moved to On. I am undecided between the Power Input Assembly, High Voltage Power Supply PCB Assembly and High Voltage Contact Assembly. It appears the High Voltage Contact Assembly only really functions to interrupt power when the front door is opened. Therefore, I feel this is unlikely. Therefore, I feel the problem is most likely with the High Voltage Power Supply PCB Assembly since there is a slight hum from the Power Input Assembly when I turn the On/Off Switch to On. Is my thinking correct or should I go in another direction?
Another direction. The issue is most likey the power supply where the plug plugs in. High voltage power supply is for image formation. You have a low voltage ps which is where the cord plugs in.
