Epson Epson Stylus CX5400

Epson CX5400

I also have an Epson printer that misteriously quit printing after I replaced all the ink cartridges. I have done everything I can possibly do. I followed all the steps and still no luck. I seems that there are tons of people having the same problem. Doesn't that seem like more than just a coincedence or is it just me? I would think that Epson would have a recall on this situation and get the problem fixed properly instead of having all these customers unhappily trying to fix their own machines. After reading all of these messages I think my next purchase will NOT be an Epson, which is really sad because when it WAS working, it was a great machine. Anyone have any other recommendations???
Try to download the adjustment program for this printer and reset it, it should work fine.

HI ! I wll ask you is this the first time you changed cartridges??I went through the same battle when I first changed ink.As dumb as it sounds ,my problem was this tiny piece of cellophane covering the ink hole.Like I said, sounds like a dumb correction for major problem..Sure I'm embarrassed to admit it and even more so ,asking if you checked this little piece of paper and insureitis pealed off before installing the cartridge..Excuse me if I makeyou feellike a dumby.I'M guilty and so are a bunch of you first time up to bat.Good luck and God Bless....

i'd try removing the plastic on the bottom and try spraying some windex or something along the contacts like epson says to do so in the books.chances are it has beomce crusted with inks and the plsatic is stoping the new ink from going thru.
