Printer streaks

I have a HP OfficeJet 600. When it prints it has horizontal streaks, very noticeable. I've already tried cleaning it according to the owners manual. I also replaced the black cartridge.None of those resolved the problem. Some streaks are so big they almost look like a smear. The printer is in good condition, hasn't been over used. If you have any suggestions sure would be appreciated.

Horizontal streaks are caused by paper dust and ink sticking to the bottom of the carriage assy. Pull out the cartridges and clean the bottom of the carriage assy. with a damp paper towel. Keep cleaning it till the paper towel doesn't show any ink on it.
