Hp HP DeskJet 600

HP 600 series

I lucked into a HP Deskwriter 690c. Unluckily, it has a Centronics type port and I have a Mac with serial ports. Any suggestions?
The only 2 choices are 1. buy a PC or 2. buy a Mac compatible printer. There is no way to make it work on a Mac.

Thanks Moe, I was afraid of that. In that the printer is much cheaper and I really am a Mac snob (and proud of it) and wouldn't think of getting a PC, I will be getting a new printer.

There is a solution, but incomplete. Check http://www.strydent.com/products/powerprint/. The compatibility chart there says Powerprint will work with a HP690C, but not for photo grade. And it costs $100.

Thanks Bob, but it seems a new printer would cost less than the solution.
