HP4V Exit problems
The HP4 accordian-folding problem sounds like the problem I'm having. Is there a 4V kit to solve this?
Thanks.
Thanks.
The output roller is dirty get the rubber rejuvenator on the printer repair kit page. This will help with your problem.
It will only be a temporary solution. We are developing a 4V exit jam kit that will include a new roller and the roller engage arm which is prone to breakage. We do have the parts, it's just a matter of finding time to shoot the video, convert to cd format and add to the site.
Hi MOE didn't see that kit, sorry.
The $1 pad is in the deskjet section. The $!0 can is in the special deals, misc. section.
I have a 4v with error51
I have replaced scanner & Dc controller
Any suggestions for a fix?

Where is the engage arm located. This may be what my problem is. Just a hint will do, but a descriptive answer will help greatly.
Thanks!

If the top exit roller is turning, it's a worn exit roller. If the roller isn't turning, the engage arm is broken. By the time the arm breaks, the roller is usually due for replacement. That's why we include both in our repair kit. You have to take the top off to see the arm. It's in the square plastic assembly just to the right of the exit roller.
