Rear Output Tray

Is there a way to "enable" or make a rear output tray for my HP LaserJet 4+ (as it does not have one). I know that the 4M+ has one but I didnt know if I could do the same to the "standard" 4+.

Any ideas?

We used to do it when we ran card stock on our 4. The way to do it is to carefully poke something in to the rear door interlock on the upper right. A folded piece of cardboard works well. Careful not to push it in too far. You then want to get some tape and tape down the rear part of the fuser assembly, it's got a spring hinge on it so it has to be taped down.
