My printer has the Error E-31 does anyone know what it means and how to fix. It's been a workhorse over the years and I'm not finding much support anywhere. I can probably do the repair myself if I just knew where to start.

Any help would be appreciated

That is a fuser not getting to operating temperature fault. On that printer it's either a burned out fuser lamp or the power supply. If you know how to solder, you can take out the power supply and disassemble it. You'll see a couple of contacts that go to the fuser that are not connecting to the board anymore. Simply resolder them. If you have an ohmmeter, check the fuser lamp first, there is a connector on the left (the large one) where you can look for about 2 ohms. We stock lamps for it if you need one.

You are looking for connector # 215 on the power supply
All the Pansonic 4420 and Raven 800 s will have this problem at
least once in it's life
The solder gets blown off on a power on cycle.
