Hp HP LaserJet 5SI

HP LJ 5si mx

Hello, I have a HP LJ 5si mx printer which is having problems printing from Tray 3, the paper hangs behind the manual feed tray.
I purchased and just installed the HP LaserJet 5Si/8000/8100 Tray 3 Paper Jam Repair Kit, but it has not fixed the problem.
Is there anything else which would cause the paper to stop? The error message displayed on the printer control panel is a 13.2 paper jam message.

Thanks in advance for help and advice,

If the second pass roller did not solve the issue and it feeds ok from tray 2, I would lean towards something wrong other than the second pass roller in the PIU. You can get complete rebuilt PIU units for a fair price on advance exchange from or

Thanks dmzcompute, I will look into that if the problem reappers.
For now it likes life after I replaced the pickup rollers, and used new paper too(I had ran the same 20 sheets or so through for testing purposes, and not to waste anymore then I had to).

Our printer HP Laserjet 5SI/MX prints out an extra blanco paper. This problem doesn't happen with every printjob! The pickup rollers I have already changed ? I would be delighted if somebody can help me with this problem.

Hi, when i found this problem i change this part: RB1-6581-000CN, this is the second pass roller, it isn't a maintenance part, but sometimes is necessary to change it.

Fabrizio the second pass roller has nothing to do with blank sheets or multipages. In fact it only effects the tray below tray 2. What we need to know is if the printer is indeed printing multipages (two or more sheets stuck together) or the software is just printing an extra sheet during the job for some reason. What I would first do is a paper path test of lets say 50 sheets from all media trays to see if I get any mulitsheet feeds. If I do, my next step if it is not from the manual tray on the right would be to try different media. The user says the rollers have been changed so I rule them out. If it is happening from the manual tray, there is a separation pad which probably needs to be replaced. If it does not happen during the paper path test, I would call in my software person as it has nothing to do with the printer itself.
