HP Business InkJet 1100 reset ink level

Does anyone know how to rest the ink gauge on the HP Business Inkjet 1100 series to "FULL" when using refill ink instead of "LOW" ink.

On a Canon it uses a light sensor to tell it if its full or empty but does anyone know for the HP Business Inkjets series what they use to tell you if the ink is FULL or empty?

Hi Mike C,

the device "ink cartridge" and "chip" is a very senseful unit and well developed from Hewlett Packard. The printing system (ink pump station) is so sensitive that a filling difference between 0,5 to 1.5 g can mean a capacity difference of 50 up to 100 pages. You can NOT reset the ink level on the chip. One time the chip (ASIC) is rendered, there is NO chance to come back.
