HP LaserJet 6L won't feed

Someone here at work got paper jammed deep inside this printer. I volunteered to see if I could fix it.

I took apart a little more of the printer than I needed to, but eventually figured out how to get at the jam, removed the paper and put it all back together, Now it seems to work except it won't feed the paper--the feed roller doesn't turn when I try to run a test page. The exit rollers turn and it is clearly trying to print, and before I took it apart it fed the paper normally ...anybody have any idea what I did to it??? Thanks in advance--

Since you don't say exactly how much of it you disassembled, it's difficult to tell what you might have messed up. Did you visually confirm the roller was turning by looking at it. It's visible if you use a flashlight and look straight down the paper feed assy.

Hi Moe--

I took another look at it later in the day and realized that the gear that turns the roller was not properly aligned with the other gears....I had tried to take the roller apparatus out and when I pushed it back in I didn't quite get it there. Works fine now and I am sort of a hero at work (my boss is a pretty non-techinical guy!).
