Hp HP LaserJet 5SI

Hp 5si is on crack!

I am having problems when printing two or more pages of a Word docuement. The printer is printing all of the text from all pages on top of each other on one page. I have not changed any settings and have no idea why this is occuring. Is it a function within my printer? How do I correct this problem?
Is only one sheet of paper coming out or do you get multiple sheets with the later sheets having images from the previous sheets? Go to the test menu and print a paper path test of lets say 10 sheets. See if it happens with the paper path test. If not it has to be something with you software. If it happens with the paper path test, I would lean towards a faulty toner cartridge or even fuser.

Yes only one sheet of paper is coming out.

What happens when you print the paper path test?

I think what Kevin is saying is that all the pages he selects to print get superimposed on the one page instead of printing on separate pages. If that's the case, then it would have to be a software related issue. I remember seeing it discussed somewhere before, but can't remember the fix.

I have since corrected the problem by redownloading the drivers. Thanks for all your help

Do not just reinstall. Delete the printer completely and then install the drivers fresh. Turn off the computer after you delete the printer and then turn back on and install.
