HP 4 fuser jamming

My original problem was jamming with fan-folding. I put rubber revitalizer on the exit rollers which had fixed it in the past. I think the mistake I then made was that I also put it on the transfer roller(which I now realize I shouldn't do). I now get jams at the fuser(paper sticks about 1/4 inch out of back of fuser) and the part of the page that printed has all kinds of grey smudging on it. If i remove the fuser, I can manually turn the gears and the rollers will pull the paper through.
You'll definitely be needing a new transfer roller. You probably knocked the fuser exit sensor out of position messing with the exit roller assembly. Check our troubleshooting page under exit sensors. We have photos of how it should and shouldn't look. Contact me via email if you want a transfer roller.
