Epson Epson Stylus Color 660

epson 660 not printing

My epson 660 prints a test pattern OK but when printing a document it will keep feeding paper through the printer. No ink will print on the paper.
GS: If your printer will print out the "Internal Epson Self-Test Page", while not connected to your Computer System, then your printer is working ok. It actually sounds like you may have a problem in your Computer System, rather than in your printer. In case you have not already done the "Internal Epson Self-Test Page", simply remove the Printer Cable from your printer and then turn it off for about 10 seconds or so to clear out any old DATA remaining from when it was connected to your computer. Hold-in on the Paper Button and then turn the printer back on and it will start to run its Internal Self-Test Page. Once you hear or see the printer start to pull in a piece of paper, then release that Paper Button and the test will continue to run. If that test page prints out normally, then that would indicate that your printer is probably working ok. It does not mean that your printer may not be dirty and possibly in need of some cleaning or servicing, it just means that your printer thinks its operating normally. If your printer is working ok, then your problem could be in your Computer System/PC: bad drivers, bad printer cable, bad software, incorrect internal PC settings, possible hardware problems [parts problems], etc. If by chance no one else can help you, it might be because this is a Printer Repair Site and it sounds like you may need a Computer Person, rather than a Printer Repair Technician. I'm sorry, I can't really help you, but I do hope someone else replies, that might be able to help you with your computer or software problem...Good Luck! Denny Conway
