Apple Apple LaserWriter 360

Apple select 360 paper jam

I have a laserwriter select 360 that folds the paper over in the middle of the sheet as it goes through the center of the printer. I have replaced the fuser assembly and the paper take up rollers on the bottom of the machine any answers?
Vertical or horizontal fold? You need to be a bit more descriptive as we can't see it. Have you tried feeding from the manual tray? Does it have the same problem?

I am sorry it is a horizontal fold. Part of the paper is at the top of the fuser assembly and part is down in the paper tray when it folds up in the middle.

That is really odd. The only explanation would be the fuser stopping and the rest of the drive continuing. What I suggest is you take the top and side covers off so you can watch the gears, etc. Did you try the manual feed as I suggested?

I do have the top and sides off the machine and it appears to be pulling harder on the left side as you look at the printer from the front. The gears appear to be turning unrestricted and is quiet. No gear hang up noted. When i put a single sheet in the front of the printer it won't pull it through
