Epson Stylus 850 Feeding to much paper

Not all the time, but usually when I need to print out a good amount of paper to many blank sheets are fed with the printed ones. Making it aggravating to constantly shuffle through the papers. I have played around with the paper lever for thickness, but this doesn't work. It is just regular HP printing paper. Please help if you can!
Sometimes static electricity or humidity can cause paper to stick together. Try fanning the pages a few times before printing.

I hope this helps.

Thanks for your response Wes, but no that isn't the problem. This has been going on for quite a while now, and it sure is aggravating. I really don't want to upgrade to a new printer yet, but I may have to soon. Not only the paper but also the nozzles are always getting clogged. Kelly-

I don't really have any good photos of the paper feed but you can use this link to try to clean the paper feed. It could be the pad that holds the paper had paper lint/dust on it. You can use "Q-tip" or sometimes a damp "Q-tip" to clean off the dust/lint. Look where the paper is inserted into the printer.

You will see a cork pad on both left and right sides of the printer. Look to see if there is any dust on the pads. These are the pads you will want to clean.

Here is the link

I hope this helps.
