TI microlaser pro 600

Hi

With reference to the last message posted to me on this topic:

I know opening this printer is a bit of an enigma,
but I found the hidden catches and finally got inside.
Nothing too exciting once I got there.

If the laser assembly is shot, would it be too much to
fix unless I can find a donor printer? If so I will
get rid of it.

Want to come work for me? I have to say I'm impressed. The thing that goes bad on those is the motor. You might try genicom. They bought TI's
laser printer division. Got to warn you they're not cheap. Less money than buying the whole assembly.

You also might want to try Lake Erie Systems. They provide TI Microlaser Pro parts for somewhat less than what you'll find with Genicom.
Good Luck!
