Apple Apple LaserWriter 360

laserwriter 360

I have an Apple laserwriter 360 printer with a fax card. It has worked great for several years. Recently, it developed a problem which I fixed after ordering the video from this site (fixyourownprinter.com). The video was great. However, the printer developed another problem which I need help for. It prints out a vectical blotches in the middle. The blocthes have a regular gap in between. Anyone has a solution for this problem?
Toner cartridge. Pull it out and open the drum shutter and you'll probably see the blotches on the surface of the drum. You can rotate it by turning the gear with your thumb.

Wow! Thank you for your advice! You are completely correct on the diagnostic. It is such a simple solution. I was dreading to have to buy a new printer when there is no printer that can match Apple laserwriter 360: fax card capability, instant-on and incredibly quite.
