Apple LaserWriter LaserWriter
upgrade PLW NT to IIg?
Does an Apple LaserWriter IIg controller board work in a PLW NT? Does it require anything but just the board swap?
(I notice a lot of IIf and IIg boards for sale on eBay. Some seem to say they will work in a PLW NT. But in searching the web haven't found an answer to exactly what can upgrade to what by using what. The speed and PS level 2 would be useful to me -- but not useful enough to buy a completely new printer right now.)

No can do. The only upgrade is to an NTR. The F and G boards fit the Laserwriter IINT printers. I think I might have a brand new NTR board in the shop, I'd have to look for it.
