Epson Epson Stylus Color 600

printhead adjustment

Hello can anyone help me with a problem. I have an Epson Stylus 600 printer and while trying to figure out how to remove the printhead to clean it. I now believe I messed up the adjustment of the printhead. Can anyone please help me get this adjusted correctly. It's the mechanism on the left side of the printer where the silver bar (where the printhead glides on) is connected to. Please help!!!!

Thanks, Heather
Heather: As an "Epson Authorized Service Dealer", there's only so much information and help that I can legally give. There's of course no way for me to actually know whats wrong with your printer. It's possible that you may even have an actual HARDWARE PROBLEM [parts problem]...You would have to have a Service Manual to be able to even try to do those Epson Factory adjustments. You might try " www.findmanual.net ". I have read on this "printer repair site" that they have all service manuals and service programs...Printheads should never be removed from an Epson Printer for cleaning, just during replacement. They are very easy to damage and the adjustments are easy to get off as well...Good Luck! Denny Conway
