Apple Apple LaserWriter 360

Apple Laserwriter 360 Printer Settings?

Does anyone know how to change the printer settings when the printer ALWAYS prints a test page first before it prints any other items?

Where do you go to to find the settings? I have it set on 0 in the back as I was told it should be there for a MAC. But is there somewhere else in the software to do that?

It is hooked up to a MAC G3.
It's done through software. You have to go into the utilities menu and turn off the start page.

Where is the utilities menu (on a Mac)? I have a 2nd hand printer and didn't get any software with it?

What kind of printer do you have, the same one? The utilities menu is suppose to be with the software and I even installed the utility but I couldn't get it to open even though the software was loaded.

Someone told me that MAC already has the drivers under Laserwriter 8 but I couldn't get it to work without the software. In fact, I've never had a printer that you could use without the software installed. So this is the site to manipulate the printer, IF yours is the same printer.

It's called LaserWriter Utility 7.7 (latest version, I think) once you have this or the Apple Printer Utility 2.2 mentioned above, you can control the printer and set Startup page on or off. These utilities should work for any apple branded laser printer.
