Service Manual request Apple Laserwriter Pro 630

Hi!

Looking for a valid download site for a service manual for an Apple Laserwriter Pro 630...... Or to beg an email copy of the PDF.

It used to be available I understand but Apple closed off the public access a while ago :o(

Also looking for a Service manual for the 20" Apple Multiscan Monitor.......

I apologise in advance if this forum isn't to be used for such requests.

Got 1, thanks!!

yep, sigh ...

I search since several hours for a tech-info related to my 630 pro.
It is a 2nd hand buy.
Never changed a toner cardridge before on any printer.
Need & want to read about BEFORE fiddling on knobs, handles, screws - just making things worse.
No data.
Everywhere commercial access only.

I suppose I untightenided the cardrige - by unknown reason or force.
The printing result changed from "1A" to "very-worse" just after having touched (and sligtly lifted for some degrees) ONE time.
I didn´t expect killing the unit could be that easy :-(

Seems like toner went to places which are not cleaned during normal printing procedure: even the BACKSIDE if the paper turned out showing gray/stripes.
How can I clean it up ?
I don´t think this is a job for service - just for reading owner´s guide / manual (... which I don´n / can´t find).

I second that sigh... Stephen, if you're going to sigh, you have to use the proper emoticon. It's just like the old saying about leading the horse to drink. On this site, you not only have to lead the horse to drink, you have to show them how to drink.
I now draw your attention to the top of the page. Just under the fixyourownprinter logo you'll see a link "Reference". If you hover your mouse pointer over it, another bar opens below it and you'll see a link titled "Manuals". Click on that link. Then click on the "Apple" link. Right click on the link next to the Pro 600 and 630 service source that says "pdf". Then select "save as" and tell it where you'd like to save it to. Enjoy your drink.

This don´t seem to work.
Am I such a noob ??

ps: manual page via "specials" does NOT show up a apple-section.
Copyright issues ? - truent
Thankyou to those who have responded. I am most grateful. Now that I have learnt of the existence of this site, I shall also look through myold manuals etyc to see if I can make a contribution.

Unfortunately, we had to take the manuals section down due to human greed. If people would just take the one manual they need instead of all of them, we wouldn't have had the bandwidth problems that necessitated their removal.

The Apple service manuals are officially at service.info.apple.com.
