Looks like a new fuser is needed, but had one replaced a couple years ago. Would it be worth checking the ps before ordering a kit?
Thanks,

You'd have to ask how many pages you've printed in that 2 years since you replaced the fuser... if the machine spends most of it's time on & working, then it's most likely you've just gone through a fuser... also, if it's on a lot & has a faulty power supply I'd expect it to have killed the fuser a lot earlier... if it's not used that often, the the fuser should be Okay, and I'd put more consideration into a power supply or dc controller... the biggest question that comes to mind is was the fuser a new unit, or a rebuilt/reconditioned assembly???

Well, it's seen light duty. The first unit was new. But I've already ordered the kit. I'm not a printer tech--i'm assuming the fuser is the same as the quartz lamp.
Also, this just happened after moving the printer. It was not moved roughly, but perhaps the element in the lamp went?
Thanks for the input.
