Tray 2 paper feed jam

Printer will feed fine from ray 1. when feeding from tray two, paper feeds at an angle, advancing about two inches on left side while right side just starts to feed

I think there might be a scrap of paper stuck in the path above the tray.

I have checked the paper path to the extent of removing the Fuser Delivery Assembly. Plastic piece held in place with a single screw. The paper starts to feed but the side oposite to the rubber wheeel drags and makes the paper go sideways.

The only difference between tray 1 and tray 2 paper paths is the small vertical section above the paper tray. If there was a scrap of paper on one side it would cause what you describe. Easy solution woud be to cut a file folder in half and shove it upwards. This should dislodge the offending object.

Thank you! The file folder solution appears to have fixed the problem. Nothing was seen to be dislodged by the file folder, but it works and that is what matters. I have been using an 6p for over 25 years. This one was a giveaway and came with three toner cartridges.
