printer does not startup

after 15 years I try to use my printer again. When power up the display only say "version 1.50 009 initializing" and does not go further.. The printer worked well when I stored it. What can I do to resolve this problem?

What is the make and model of your printer.

Try these steps and see if it works:

- Make sure that the printer power cable is connected to the wall outlet directly and not to a surge protector.

- Try to swap power cables and make sure they are plugged in properly

- restart the printer

- reset the printer.
