Brother MFC-7460DN: paper feed problem
I have a Brother MFC-7460DN that is exhibiting a paper feed problem. It appears that the after the last page in a print / copy / fax job is printed, a single sheet of paper is left partially raised in the feeder tray. Then, when the next print job begins a loud sound is heard, the paper misfeeds, and the machine reports a paper jam. The drum must be pulled out, and the partially fed paper removed. After clearing, the machine will print / copy / print a fax. As long as the printer doesn't stop, multiple pages or back to back jobs will print without incident. So I can print one, two, or any number of pages without incident, from one or more jobs, so long as the printer doesn't stop. Once it stops, it will misfeed on the first page of the next job.
Does anyone know what might be causing this problem, and what I can do to fix it?
