I bought this printer about 2 years ago, reconditioned, new pickup rollers.
Pickup from the paper tray has become unreliable. usually will pick up one piece, but then fail to get the following one, then gives a "paper jam" error, but really did not pick up.I tried cleaning the rubber rollers wjth alcohol, but no real difference.
However, if I stack paper in the front "multipurpose" tray, it feeds in quite reliably, just less convenient.. I guess it's easier for the paper sliding down than picking up from the below . So is it the roller, or something else?
I have had new imitation Chinese rollers that failed from the get go. Alcohol is the worst thing for rubber. It dries it out. I would try a new roller. Not that hard to replace.
