Ink carraige jammed, carriage lid popped open
I was printing a document, received Carriage Jammed error. Upon investigation I can see that the hinged lid holding the number 58 ink cartridge in place has popped open and is catching on the left end of the printer. I have tried using various instruments to push it back down to move it out so can properly secure it, but no luck. Cannot see any way to remove the top of the printer so could easily reach it. Any thoughts? Thanks!
An error message "Carriage Jammed" on H.P. Photo smart C4280 could be a printer problem associated with the carriage that clasps the ink cartridges. This could be caused by an earlier printing error like paper Jammed or a distant object stuck throughout a printing term.
