paper folds
when it prints it folds the paper down about anywhere from 2 to 4 inches. It has printed the page under the fold. It is an old printer with 44,000 copies through it, but I just purchased new toner and a new drum so I would refer to get this one working rather than dispose of those new items.
The fold is happening after the toner/drum, so they can be ruled out. Folding is caused by the leading edge of the paper hitting an obstruction. The back part is still being pushed, causing the folding. Since it is an uncommon problem, it would be something I would have to see to render a further diagnosis.
