clicking noise is back with power panel light flashing
I have cleaned the glass, followed the reset procedure and still it continues.
This has become a challenge now plus I need to print.
Cleaning glass you mean the clear glass for making copies? You may need to remove the glass top, clean both sides to be sure and also try cleaning the mirrors in the scanner (possibly removing its cover for better access) that moves back and forth under that glass, if the mirrors get dirty they can cause the scanner to keep hitting the side making a clicking noise. Though these models are more or less disposable now so it's the only thing to try before getting a new printer, depending how far you want to go into it. Youtube might have some videos but no real manuals out there to show you top cover removal, there's a few screws I recall under the control panel, that slides off or pops out first, rest should be pretty visible.
You might have to remove the glass lid and clean both sides to ensure that there is no dust or any other particles blocking the printer. Try cleaning the mirrors in the scanner that keeps moving underneath the glass when a scan is performed. If the mirrors get dirty they can cause the scanner to keep hitting the side making a clicking noise.
