When we print text, there is a faded duplicate of that text below or to the side

If it is just happening wirh black text, I would replace the black cartridge.

A faded Shadowing / ghosting usually means the toner isn't bonding to the page, in which case the fuser unit may be failing. A halfway test may help tell you more (run a test page through and stop before it at the halfway point, before it gets into the fuser, and inspect to see if the ghosting is not present BEFORE it enters the fuser, indicating fuser assembly is the point of failure) ... http://www.printertechs.com/shop/fuser-for-hp-colo...
