I had to clean the ink carriage because ink had dried up on the screens so I soaked it. When I put everything back I plugged it in and I slammed the ink carriage all the way to the right causing a paper jam error. I tried everything I read on the internet before I found this site. It seems to me it rides on a horizon track and right before it gets to its main spot the track dips down. Well I think the carriage is going to fast not let it dip down to that space.
I'm sorry this is , well was the only time I've ever even messed with a printer. All help-advice would be much obliged Thanks , sam
No way to help without a model number.
sorry I assumed when I logged in that info would show. It's a hp photosmart all in one 551
There's no such model. 5510? Maybe you detached the plastic encoder strip that runs through the back of the cartridge assy.
