Out of paper error

My printer, I can see has paper in it. Whether I'm trying to print from a webpage, Word document, or anything else, the computer tells me I am out of paper. When I do a test print in the properties menu, it prints it perfectly fine, but when i try to print my actual page, it is unsuccessful. Do I need to clean the printer? Does it need replacing? What should I do?

That is kind of weird. That model has no paper tray sensor. If the paper does not feed up to the sensor where it stops to await printing, the printer will give an indicaton. The computer has no idea of anything related to paper. Usually those messages are driver issues. The fact it does a test page rules our any sensor problem.
