need wiper blade

Printer is actually a 5m. I have 4 92298A cartridges now that get grey vertical stripes. If you pull the cart, you can see that excess toner is staying on the photoconductor drum and not getting wiped off. If I swap the wiper blade it prints fine for a couple pages, then the grey stripe shows up in a different spot.

Does anybody know where I can get NEW wiper blades, or is there something you can do to 'rejuvenate" an old wiper blade? Something like bending the bracket, or maybe putting a paper shim under the blade to bring it closer to the drum?

Wiper blades have to be replaced. Unfortunately, most vendors only sell them in packs of ten. You can google EX wiper blades. Still cheaper than replacing a cartridge.

Thanks for the EX tip, that got me an outfit that will sell just ONE, with reasonable shipping! Printer now working like new! - jmelson

Well, I discovered something! I put a single layer of masking tape under the wiper blade's metal bracket. The idea was to apply just a little more pressure on the photoconductor drum. So far, it seems to be working fine! I have been struggling with this for several years, as original cartridges are all very old now. I can't believe that I never thought to try this before.
