HP LJ IIP+

Hi There:
I've got a LJ IIP+ printer that I cannot seem to get into the "Test" mode. With the printer off line, pressing the "Test" button does nothing--I cannot get it to print a test page. I am able to get the unit into the service mode by pressing all 3 buttons on the top row prior to powering up the printer. Keypad switches test OK. Page count is approximately 25,000. Printer prints fine from DOS. Do I have a problem, or am I doing something wrong?
Also, at 25K pages, do you recommend any replacement of any parts other than the usual rubber goods?
Thanks in advance...Ray

You have to hit the alt button, then the test button. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
