HP LJ III Squirrel Cage noise

The squirrel cage fan assy on top of the power supply at the right rear of the printer makes noise after a half hour or so of operation. I have taken it out and removed the dust. No error codes, seems to work fine. Any fix other than replacing the whole power supply assy?
Thanks

Dan

The later version did away with the squirrel cage and replaced it with a muffin fan. Try removing the rubber on the left side and pulling the brass bushing off the shaft. Clean the shaft and lube the inside of the bushing. Oil tends to coagulate with the heat so we use silicon based lubricant. If that doesn't work, I think the p/n is RG1-1122.
