PLW NT vs blank sheets
I note a repair kit for "Apple PLW Blank Page Error Repair Kit". However, the description is too terse for me to determine if this refers to the problem I have -- it just says "second page feeds a blank copy" and refers to a non-specific repair part. In particular, I can't tell whether this kit addresses picking more than one sheet at a time, or the problem I have, or something else.
Which is it?
Thanks,
Edward Reid
Thanks ... I think that means it will work, but I'm still a bit confused.
"Optional lower cassette tray": no such thing on a PLW NT, at least not that I know of. It has the main tray under the printer, and the alternate feed is a flimsy fold-out tray on the front. The problem does happen when feeding from the main, lower tray -- I don't think I tried switching to the alternate feed.
"Jam" -- you just mean it stops, right? Blasted terminology. To me, "jam" means paper is stuck, mangled, inside, but I know some people just mean the machine stopped.
Anyway, I think I'm on the right track here and I'm gonna rescue my printer from the shop. Do you offer multiple-kit discounts? :-) ... looks like I'm probably gonna need three.
Thanks,
Edward Reid
Ah, I see, thanks. I think you're right; I'm pretty sure it was standard on the PLW NT. At least, I don't remember having a choice (though that was ten years ago).
