DATAPRODUCTS LZR 650 / 960 Error Code

I've got 2 dataproducts LZR 650's with C2 service code. They printed fine up until receiving the code. Hitach (aquired dataproducts) says it is either the main motor or the power supply. Does anyone have schematics/lists or error codes -> with further steps for problem definition? If it is a power supply, I can fix it..if I know what the voltages are supposed to be when I check them.
Thanks for responses,
That's a Sharp JX9500 engine.
That is a main motor failure error.
It could be just that the drum unit is binding
or the developer unit has impacted toner. You
can pull both of them out and check to see if
they are turning freely. If you need anything,
just email me, we stock all the parts.

OK, I am very mechanically inclined but I do not want to break/damage anything.
1) The section that has the toner turns freely
2) the drum unit? I do not know what that is - the thing on the upper assembly that has the rotating cylinder that toner electrostatically attaches to? It turns...but with drag.
3) the lower assembly has a lot of gears. It has a motor with a "bell-like" housing that spins on startup, turning all of the gears in the main gear assembly.
After removing the sides, I manually turned the motor "bell" and it was not dragging "too much" (as compared to the second unit) After a small amount of turning, I started the unit up and low and behold, it went into its 'READY" status.
The gears in this unit were almost dry w/ little/no lubricant - unlike the one that has much greater drag that has a white/beige grease slathered on the gears.
SO, does it sound like I need to order a Lubrication/grease "kit" with directions on where to apply the lubricants?
Thanks,
